Following the serious allegations of corruption against Arvind Kejriwal by sacked cabinet minister Kapil Mishra, Delhi Chief Minister’s wife, Sunita Kejriwal took to Twitter to berate him for his audacity to cast aspersions on the clean image he had built so assiduously. In a hard-hitting tweet, she said, “Law of nature never errs, seeds of betrayal, false allegations sown, so shall he (Kapil Mishra) reap. Inevitable.” However, Mishra did not take that lying down, he was quick to react and said that Sunita was the loyal wife of Kejriwal and she would therefore not say anything that could go against her husband. He was of the opinion that ‘Mrs Kejriwal’ had no idea about her husband’s doings. “She doesn’t know the truth and was worried bout her husband’s downfall,” he added.
In a tweet, he said, “Sunita Kejriwal is a very loyal wife, she would not say anything against her husband. She has no idea what vicious plans are being made in her own house. Sunita Kejriwal doesn’t know the truth, she is worried about her husband’s downfall.”
Mishra on Sunday at a press conference accused the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) of concealing information about the true state of its funding from the Election Commission and even from the Income Tax department. He accused the AAP of money laundering via shell companies. However, he had fainted after this and had to be hospitalised.
Before fainting though, he had called the Delhi CM corrupt and had asked him to quit. If Kejriwal failed to do so, then Mishra said he would be dragging him by his collar to Tihar jail. “Whenever I would be discharged from the hospital, I will make a written complaint to the Central Bureau of Investigation and the Central Board of Direct Taxes under black money, hawala and money laundering cases (against Kejriwal and the AAP),” Mishra tweeted later.
