Saluting Indian Army for the surgical strikes across LOC, Bhartiya Janata Party President Amit Shah on Thursday said that nation under PM Narendra Modi is ”feeling secure’. He said that it is for the first time that Army has caused major loss to terror camps, that too, without any loss on its part. “I congratulate Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and Indian Army for surgical strikes on terror launch pads in Pakistan Occupied Kashmir,” said Amit Shah in a tweet. “Indian Army has inflicted heavy damage on terrorists, without any casualty, reaffirms Army’s valour and commitment to nation’s security” Shah added. “It is for the first time, in this frontal fight against terrorism, India under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Modi is feeling secure,” he added. Lauding army’s efforts, Shah said that India has given a befitting reply to those attacking innocent Indians & ensuring zero tolerance on terror.
Retaliating continued terror activities from Pakistan-backed militant camps, Indian Army on Thursday conducted surgical strikes across LoC. As per the Army, significant casualties were caused to the terrorists. Army said that motive of this operation was to hit out at the terrorists who were planning to infiltrate into our territory. Indian Army has also shared with details of surgical strikes with Pakistan Army. There were no Indian causalities during surgical strikes. Terrorists hailing from PoK or Pakistan have also been captured in the strikes. The Army said that that the terrorists have confessed to their training in Pakistan or in the Pakistan-controlled region
