BJP president Amit Shah today lashed out at the Kerala government and human rights groups for selective outrage against intolerance in the country. He said, “More than 120 BJP, RSS workers killed. All responsibility of these murders belongs to CM Pinarayi Vijayan,” according to CNN News 18. Hitting out at the Left parties, Shah said, “Look at West Bengal and Tripura’s situation. Communists ruled here long. Peaceful Kerala is turning violent as communist ideology is spreading here,” as per ANI. Earlier, BJP President Amit Shah today inaugurated an exhibition where the photographs of BJP workers killed in Kannur have been displayed.

Attacking both the Congress and the Left, he said, “They should introspect why communist ideology is vanishing all over the world. This is because of their hate politics.” Meanwhile, three BJP workers were injured after they were allegedly attacked by the CPI (M) workers in Kasargod district. Police has also registered a case in this connection.

Bharatiya Janata Party President Amit Shah will today flag off a fortnight-long campaign from Kannur against the alleged killing of party and RSS workers in Kerala. UP CM Yogi Adityanath will also to take part in BJP’s Jan Raksha Yatra in Kannur tomorrow, as per ANI. BJP national leaders will be leading yatras across the state to mobilise its own cadre and challenge the ruling CPM in its own bastion from October 3 to 17, as per CNN News 18.

Earlier on June this year, the BJP President had said the saffron party’s growth in Kerala cannot be stopped with violence as he slammed the ruling Communist Party of India-Marxist for the attacks against BJP and Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh workers in the state. He had said it was a matter of “shame” that most of the killings have occurred in Kannur, the home district of Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan. Shah said the BJP has found it very difficult to carry out its activities in Kerala as violence and attacks against BJP-RSS workers increase whenever CPI(M) headed LDF government comes to power, as per PTI report.
