In the wake of terrorist activities taking place in the country, a mysterious bomb blast took place in Malda’s Paharpur village, West Bengal near the National Highway 81. The blast killed one, while two others were injured, the police investigation is underway to find the real reason behind the bomb blast. More than 100 crude bombs have been recovered yesterday from a house in Malda, West Bengal. Earlier on Tuesday, an explosion took place in the Bhopal-Ujjain passenger train where 9 people were reportedly injured.
On March 7, a terror activity shook the city of Lucknow at the time when the UP Elections are on the brink of closing in on the assembly polls. Terror suspects had sneaked into the Thakurganj locality in Lucknow yesterday. With the security forces, including the Anti-Terror Squad (ATS) men surrounding the area, a tense stand-off was on for more than two hours. With Uttar Pradesh in the midst of an extremely volatile Assembly elections, the security forces are fearing the worst and have prepared themselves to tackle all situations that may arise from this encounter. According to sources at the spot, there was gunfire going on with both parties exchanging fire. However, there no reports of anyone getting injured were reported. An explosion too was reported on the spot.

In another incident on Wednesday morning, the Madhya Pradesh police reported that they have arrest 6 members of ISIS module. The police have reportedly recovered 8 pistols and an ISIS flag from these members. The police have also recovered an Indian and Israel flag while 4 other members of the organisation are reported to be on the run. A total of 11-12 members were suspected to be a part of the organisation and were found with bomb-making material which signals at a major terrorist activity against India.
