Amid the allegations and retaliations in the Dalit atrocities happening across India, most recent being at Una, Gujarat, where some youth were thrashed for allegedly skinning a cow. Arvind Kejriwal led AAP plans to launch a special ‘dalit’ manifesto targeting the upcoming Assembly Elections in three states-Goa, Punjab and Gujarat.
Soon after Rahul Gandhi, Delhi CM and AAP chief Arvind Kejriwal also visited Una, in order to meet the victims and their families.
AAP is taking the Assembly polls in all zest and wants to leave no stones unturned to appeal to voters. And with the point of focus being Dalit attacks, the manifesto will only go on to add brownie points.

The manifesto would be launched by second or third week of September. Punjab being one of the states with the biggest population of people born into Scheduled Castes, AAP wants to hit the bull’s eye against the BJP-Akali dal alliance. Following suit, similiar manifestos will be launched in Gujarat and Goa as well.
