Alleging the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) of cheating people of Delhi, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Satish Upadhyay on Saturday said AAP should shun its false ‘cloak of morality’ and take action against offenders.
“AAP is full of conspirators and people with criminal intent, so what more can you expect. This corruption case goes up to the very top. This is just the beginning, more will come out soon. People of Delhi have been cheated. Where is the ethics and morals that they had talked about,” Upadhyay told ANI.
“It is easy to point fingers at others, first Tomar was caught over fake degrees, then the Somnath Bharti case took place, where was their morality? They are wearing a false cloak of morality, they should shun it and take action against the offenders,” he added.
Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal yesterday sacked state Food and Civil Supplies Minister Asim Ahmed Khan from his Cabinet on charges of corruption.
Khan had said that there was a conspiracy behind his sacking.
The ruling AAP Government in Delhi has referred the case to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI).
