Former AAP leader Kapil Mishra on May 13 sent another letter to Arvind Kejriwal accusing him of diverting the attention from the corruption allegations, reported Times Now. Kapil Mishra further said that AAP should make its accounts public and also raised questions over AAP leaders’ foreign trips when the party was short of funds.
Kapil Mishra’s mother who is a former BJP mayor too had written to Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal accusing him of spreading ‘lies’ that the Bharatiya Janata Party is behind Kapil Mishra’s attacks on Arvind Kejriwal following AAP leaders sharing pictures on Twitter where Kapil Mishra and Manoj Tiwari were seen together. She further claimed that Kapil Mishra was “an agent of truth”. She urged Arvind Kejriwal to share the information his son has sought.
Since the time of corruption allegations, Anti Corruption Branch (ACB) officers have raided the offices of the Public Works Department (PWD), located on the 12th floor of Delhi Police Headquarters. According to a report in Indian Express, Delhi Police also seized several files relating to PWD scam, notice regarding which would be sent to PWD minister Satyendra Jain. Moreover, complainant Rahul Sharma also filed a complaint against Arvind Kejriwal’s brother in law, Surender Bansal over irregularities in roads and sewer lines contract in 2015-2016.

Kapil Mishra has been sitting on a hunger strike since four days now and has sent a series of letters to Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal who has been accused of accepting Rs 2 crore in cash from Satyendra Jain.
AAP has been surrounded by controversy since the party’s claims that it lost the MCD elections 2017 because of EVM tampering. The party claimed that the EVMs which were used for MCD elections were hacked. The controversy led to the party infighting with Kumar Vishwas coming out with a video against AAP chief Arvind Kejriwal and Amanatullah Khan calling Kumar Vishwas a ”BJP-RSS” agent. The party rift widened when Kapil Mishra made corruption accusation against the leader.
