After being banned from performing in Mumbai by the Shiv Sena, Ghazal maestro Ghulam Ali has agreed to do a concert in the national capital in December.
“Ghulam Ali sir, I am a big fan of yours. It was great talking to you. Thanks for agreeing to do a program in Delhi in Dec,” Delhi CM and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) chief Arvind Kejriwal tweeted.
The Shiv Sena had earlier defended banning the Pakistani singer from performing in Maharashtra, saying what they had done was in true spirit of patriotism. The Shiv Sena also slammed Kejriwal for inviting the singer to perform in the national capital, accusing him of doing ‘vote bank politics’.
