A 6-year-old girl died today after being hit by a school bus in the Kavi Nagar area of Ghaziabad in Uttar Pradesh on Saturday afternoon, reported ANI. This is the second incident of this type in last two days when a minor lost his life. The girl was returning home after attending her school when the incident took place, according to ANI. Locals have vandalised the school bus. Yesterday, a seven-year-old boy was found dead inside the washroom of the Gurgaon-based Ryan International School. The incident led to outrage among the parents of other students studying in the school. Police have already arrested a bus driver in relation to the case and is investigating the matter.
The boy, a Class II student, was allegedly killed by a bus conductor, Ashok Kumar, who also tried to sexually abuse the minor. The acting principal of Ryan International School Gurgaon was today suspended and all the security staffs were removed. Angry parents and locals gathered outside the school premises Saturday morning and staged protest for over two hours demanding a CBI probe into the gruesome murder while expressing their displeasure over the investigation being carried out by the Gurgaon Police, as per PTI
Earlier, on August 8, a six-year-old boy was killed after a tractor overturned on him at Dasna in Ghaziabad district, as per The Times of India. However, no complaint was filed with the police. “Aqeel was playing in the lane near his house when the tractor, which was loaded with cattle fodder, overturned and crushed him,” said Dasna police chowki in-charge Yatender Kumar was quoted as saying by TOI.
