Rajnath Singh said that the permanent solution of Kashmir issue is based on 5 Cs-Compassion, Communication, Coexistence, Confidence Building, and Consistency.
Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh is on a four-day visit to Jammu and Kashmir in a bid to interact with the delegations from different sections of society there. Singh while addressing the media on Day 2 said that he has come to the state five times, but if need be he will visit the state 50 times in a year if necessary. As per ANI report, he said,”5 baar kya, agar ek saal mein 50 baar Kashmir aane ki zaroorat padegi to mai aaunga. He added,” We want to resolve problems in Jammu and Kashmir. I would like to talk to all the stakeholders, I have always said this. I am not here keeping any reservation in mind.” He further urged the tourists and tourist organizations that Kashmiris are ready to welcome them. He went on to say that the permanent solution of Kashmir issue is based on 5 Cs-Compassion, Communication, Coexistence, Confidence Building, and Consistency, reported ANI.
He said,”Want to appeal all tourists and tourist organizations, people of Kashmir are ready to welcome you, they want to turn it into heaven again.” He added,”Due to cost escalation the PM Development Package for J&K is set to cross more than 1 lakh crores.”
Meanwhile, Singh, who arrived at Jammu and Kashmir on Sunday morning, commended Police personnel. While interacting with the J&K Police in Anantnag, Singh said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has acknowledged the bravery of the police in the state. “I have PM Narendra Modi’s message for you, he appreciated and acknowledged bravery and valour shown by you,” he said.
The Home Minister also said that Centre has issued orders for bullet proof vehicles at all police stations in the state. In his statement, he also said that funds have been released for bullet proof jackets for the jawans. “Our jawans should also get bullet proof jackets and fund for this has been released,” Singh said.
Moreover, he appealed to everyone saying that they can approach him directly in the case of any grievances or complaints. He added that he is ready to talk to them and accept the gesture open heartedly. “Sabse appeal karunga kisi ko agar koi shikwa, shikayat hai to seedha hum se baatcheet karein, mai khule dil se baat karne ko tayyar hoon,” ANI quoted him as saying.
Home Minister went on to say that we will find respite from this unrest and Kashmir will be a heavenly place again.”
