23-year-old woman techie found dead at Hyderabad residence; brother accuses fiance of murder

In a tragic incident, a 23-year-old B Tech graduate woman was found dead at her residence in Rachakonda area of Hyderabad on Tuesday, reports ANI. The police suspect that the student whose name is Anusha was murdered after receiving severe injury on her head. According to the report, Deputy Commissioner of Police of Rachakonda MV Rao, said, “We received a information that a woman was found murdered in her residence, immediately Hayatnagar police reached the spot and found 23-year-old B-Tech graduate Anusha found dead in her residence.” Anusha’s brother Srikanth is suspicious that her fiance Motilal has committed the crime. A case has been registered under Section 302 of Indian Penal Code (IPC).

Earlier today PTI reported that chopped body parts of an unidentified pregnant woman were found stuffed in two gunny bags near Botanical Garden area at Kondapur close to Hitech City in Hyderabad. Police said, that incident came to light after local residents spotted the blood-stained bags by the roadside at around 9:30 AM and alerted the police. When the police opened the bags, they found decomposed body parts of a woman aged between 25 and 30, an official said. While one bag contained the severed head and hands, another was stuffed with torso, Assistant Commissioner of Police (Madhapur Division) N Shyam Prasad Rao told PTI.

Earlier on Monday, the Indian Express reported that police have arrested a 34-year-old husband of a saleswoman who was found dead along with her five-year-old daughter and mother in a flat in Chandanagar area on the outskirts of Hyderabad. The report said that police found the three bodies on Monday morning after neighbours called and informed them that although the door was locked from inside no one was answering it since Saturday evening. The neighbours also told that a foul smell emanated from the flat. After opening the door, police found the woman, named G Aparna lying in a pool of blood in the kitchen while her daughter Kartikeya was lying on the bed alongside grandmother Vijaya Lakshmi. Both were also dead and cops suspect they were poisoned while Aparna was bludgeoned with a grinding stone.
