In a shocking incident, two Indian Air Force pilots were killed in an microlight aircraft crash in Assam’s Majuli island. The Majuli Police have confirmed the incident and the deaths. The IAF personnel were flying in a microlight chopper and were en route to Majuli. Reports suggest that the chopper took place from Rowriah airport, Jorhat district, Assam. The two pilots crash-landed on the island at around 1:30 pm. A police officer said that it is suspected that the plane crash took place due to technical failures.
