US based Svast partners with CityMed to offer digital healthcare solutions to citizens of Uzbekistan

Digitalisation in the healthcare industry has made medical care services accessible to the common man by transforming the way health care providers and patients interact.

US based global digital healthcare company Svast Inc. recently announced its strategic partnership with CityMed, Tashkent to provide digital healthcare solutions to the citizens of Uzbekistan. CityMed, Tashkent is one of the leading healthcare organisations of Uzbekistan.

Industry forecasts the digital health market to reach nearly 660 billion dollars by 2025.

In order to bring personalised affordable healthcare to everyone globally, Svast’s partnership with CityMed is just one of many joint ventures to provide patients with more robust facilities.

Speaking on the partnership, Lata Hariharan, President of Svast said, “Digitalisation is very important to ensure that process and quality are followed and maintained. Svast and CityMed’s partnership in Uzbekistan is aimed at resolving the healthcare challenges while strengthening Svast’s position in the global market. It is poised to create the foundation for the rollout of cutting-edge healthcare technology.

Digital tools like telemedicine and remote diagnostics can significantly decrease patient travel time and improve diagnosis. Digitalisation of medical records, diagnostic tools and solutions has enhanced accessibility and made it easier to provide the right information at the right time.

The Covid -19 pandemic era has seen increasing use of digital health tools and also witnessed increased investor funding into the segment. In 2020, over 21 billion US dollars was invested in the industry, as against around one billion US dollars in 2010. In 2019, 42 percent of Americans were reported to be adopting digital health tracking and the trend is increasing globally.
