Columbia Asia Hospitals, in association with the Bangalore Traffic Police, awarded three good samaritans, and felicitated 10 others (in the individual category). This is the first annual property of Columbia Asia Hospitals.

A panel discussion was conducted wherein issues related to road safety and accident victims were discussed and debated for possible solutions. The panel included  Manjunath Prasad, Commissioner, BBMP; R Hithendra, Additional Commissioner of Police (Traffic), Bengaluru; Pranay Jivrajka Chief Operating Officer, Ola, Ramesh Arvind, Kannada actor, Ashok GV – TMT Law and Dr. Nandakumar Jairam, Chairman and Group Medical Director, Columbia Asia Hospitals.

The hospital authorities are hopeful that these Good Samaritan Awards will motivate citizens to take a step forward and help Road Traffic Accidents (RTA) victims get timely medical attention.
