While Uri actor Vicky Kaushal and Luka Chuppi fame Kartik Aaryan hosted Zee Cine Awards 2019, Dhak-Dhak girl Madhuri Dixit stole the show with her tribute to the film Hum Aapke Hain Kaun.

The red carpet was laid yesterday as the Zee Cine Awards 2019 was held in Mumbai, housing several famous Bollywood celebrities. The award ceremony which was hosted by Kartik Aaryan and Vicky Kaushal, saw several starry moments on stage, from Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh taking their marriage pheras to Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt’s romantic dance performance on Ishq Wala Love.
The star-studded evening was a fun-filled affair that captured several moments for viewers. Besides this, Sanjay Leela Bhansali emerged to bag the Best Director Award for Padmaavat, which was one of the highest grossing films in 2018. Ranbir Kapoor, who gave a remarkable performance on-screen donning Sanjay Dutt, secured the Best Actor award for Rajkumar Hirani’s Sanju.
Other than this, Janhvi Kapoor and Ishaan Khatter (for Beyond the Clouds) who worked together in Dhadak bagged the Best Debut Female and Male awards. On the one hand, Ayushmann Khurrana who secured a special award for AndhaDhun, Tabu won the Best Actor in a negative role for the film.
