Actor Varun Dhawan has been signed on for the lead role in the sequel of his filmmaker father David Dhawan’s 1997 hit comedy “Judwaa”.
The 28-year-old “Badlapur” star revealed the news on his official Twitter account by sharing his look from the upcoming movie.
Wearing a black tee and a blue jacket with its collar raised, Varun sports a mischievous expression in the photo.
“Judwaa 2,” the actor captioned the image.
The sequel, which will also have David in the director’s chair, stars Varun in twin avatars. This is the second time the father-son duo are collaborating. They last worked together in 2014 romantic-comedy “Main Tera Hero”.
The original “Judwaa” featured superstar Salman Khan in double role, Karisma Kapoor and Rambha.
