Ever since Shah Rukh Khan started his career, the actor has not only been known for his brilliant acting on the big screen but also for his gentleness. Many times, the actor was lauded by co-stars and others associated with him for his humble attitude too. This was evident once again when Bollywood’s King of Romance did something that would really touch everyone’s heart – he apologised to Captain of Indian Women’s Cricket team Mithali Raj! And why that is? Well, the Badshah of Bollywood was late for the shoot of TED Talks India: Nayi Soch. Shah Rukh Khan is coming up with the Indian version of TED Talks. Hosted by him, the show will see personalities from different fields motivating the audience with their life changing stories. Though it is already in the news that the first speaker to shoot for the show is none other than SRK’s good friend Karan Johar, there is one more guest to appear in the first episode of the show – Mithali Raj, as per a Bollywood Hungama report.
On the day of shooting for the first episode, Karan Johar and Shah Rukh Khan reached the venue quite late. This had delayed the shoot for as much as three-four hours! Also, this had made Indian Women’s Cricket team captain wait. However, reaching the venue, SRK apologized in gentleman’s style to her for the delay, as per Bollywood Hungama. After this, he along with Karan Johar and Mithali started the shooting for the TV show. For the first episode, Karan Johar and Mithali Raj will be reportedly speaking on changing relationships in contemporary society.
In April, this year, SRK delivered his maiden TED Talk. In his nearly 17-minute talk, the actor delivered motivational and inspirational words with a pinch of laughter, jokes, and sarcasm. Now it is time for Karan Johar to be the speaker on the show. And for this, the director seems quite excited.
Ahead of shooting for the first episode of the Indian format of TED talks, Karan took to social media to share the excitement. He shared his look for the show on Instagram with “TED TALK thank you @iamsrk for always being so amazing!”
