Terminator 2 movie review: There is no denying the fact that Arnold Schwarzenegger starrer Terminator series was one of the best sci-fi movies ever made. Director James Cameron cemented his reputation as a director and helmed a generation of special effects and provided an edge to action movies that very few have been able to match – the combo was lethal at BO too. The film is etched in the minds of every Hollywood movie lover and after almost 25 years its back on the silver screen and it is made to come alive with the 3D effect. This is not the first time a James Camron movie is up for re-release, the former being Titanic. Now the question is, whether the movie gives you enough reasons to throng the theatres to relive those moments again? The answer is a big YES! Even if you have watched Terminator 2: The Judgement Day before, it will not fail to enthrall you – it leaves as big an impact as its first avatar did so many years ago.
For some, Terminator 2 will be a trip down the memory lane, where you relive the past in a bigger and better way. Terminator had released in 1984, followed by the sequel in the year 1991. Undoubtedly the movie was a class apart and even after 25 years of its release, the digitally re-mastered piece will not disappoint you and stays as fresh as it was before. Even after the lapse of so many years neither the screenplay, the special effects, the action sequence or for that matter, Arnold himself, will make you even want to blink for fear of losing out on even a moment of the ongoing action! You can comfortably believe whats going on in the screen over the entire two and a half hours that teh film lasts. Terminator 2 3D proves a point why Cameron was ahead of other moviemakers of his time. Don’t miss out on this show, the movie viewing gets even better with the third dimension added.
