Haasan taunted the Tamil Nadu MLA's saying these MLAs (who are fighting amongst each other) have to be given respect by the people of the state in spite of their rowdy behaviour. “People of Tamizhnadu, Welcome your respective MLAs with the respect they desrve back home,” he tweeted.

Actor Kamal Haasan took to Twitter on Saturday and left no stone unturned to jibe at the MLAs who attacked each other in Tamil Nadu Assembly today. This was after Chief Minister Edappadi Palaniswami said that he has garnered majority of trust votes of the 238 MLAs. During an on-going tussle between DMK and AIDMK the TN Assembly over E Palaniswami’s win, saw another ruckus when MLAs threw the Speaker’s chair, tore papers and thrashed each other, allegedly DMK leader MK Stalin’s shirt was torn in the chaos. Haasan taunted the Tamil Nadu MLA’s saying these MLAs (who are fighting amongst each other) have to be given respect by the people of the state in spite of their rowdy behaviour. “People of Tamizhnadu, Welcome your respective MLAs with the respect they desrve back home,” he tweeted.

Soon after the Palaniswami’s announcement that he has gathered the trust votes, Haasan mocked the new style of democracy with which the vote count was declared in the absence of O Panneerselvam, where Palaniswami got 122 votes and 11 voted for Panneerselvam. Haasan tweeted, “There you go. Seems like we have another CM. Jai de-mockcrazy.”

Commenting on the ruckus in the TN Assembly, Haasan said on Twitter page, “I’ve seen MLAs of d then ADMK now Cong. walk away with bunch of plucked microphones.” Haasan criticised the media for showing the ruckus as something only pertaining to the present discontent in Tamil Nadu, whereas such a ruckus and an even more magnified one has been seen in the past. The English TV anchors were too young 2 remember. We do. Media’ll have to use less hyperbole. We have seen worst things happen in TN assembly. Why are lazy couch revolters (incld. I)so shocked now?”

He took the example of ex-chief justice Markandey Katju statement, “People who hide behind constitution while they hide explosive truths will only implode it,” and said that media has created a hyberbole of the situation at TN Assembly, “We both abhore hyperbole. Objective or subjective. U know what I meant. Keep trolltooning. U wont be arrested. Hopefully.” He added, “Honrbl Justice Markandey Katju has a wonderful solution for the political situation in India, but India’s reputation for Ahinsa will change.”

He also also tweeted, “Without consulting Mr VeeramaNi ayya. Im emboldened to say DK (Dravidar Kazhagam) will have to work for the people or not at all. It applies to all Dravidians.”
