Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety box office collection prediction:\u00a0After shedding light on girlfriends and their tantrums in Pyar Ka Panchnama, director Luv Ranjan is back again with his favourites Kartik Aaryan, Nushrat Bharucha along with Sunny Singh. This time though, Ranjan aspires to hit the right chords by portraying a war - one between bromance and romance. Promising to deliver fun galore, this romance vs bromance tale has kept the audiences excited from the very day the trailer was released.\u00a0After undergoing changes in the release date (courtesy the Padmaavat controversy) the film finally releases on February 23. Going by Luv Ranjan's past record, experts peg the film's first-day earnings anywhere between Rs 4 crore to 4.25 cr. Speaking to FinancialExpress.com, trade analyst Girish Johar said, ''Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety has gathered a lot of buzz, especially among the youth and even the songs have done decently. Therefore the film can earn anything within Rs Rs 4-4.25 crore on the opening day.'' The songs have been perceived well by the audiences - be it the foot-tapping 'Bom Diggy Diggy'or ' Chote Chote Peg'. Despite lacking an acclaimed star cast, the film promises a good start owing to the 'Pyar Ka Panchnama' venture, which still happens to be an audience favourite. The film releases alongside Welcome to New York which stars Diljit Dosanjh and Sonakshi Sinha in the leads. Call it an 'inherent advantage', but Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety might take the glory away from this Chakri Toleti directorial. In spite of being based on almost the same genre of filmmaking, the two films are set to cater to the needs of two totally different set of audiences. As per expert predictions, SKTS will make a good start and could also end up witnessing an escalation in occupancy rate if the script and word of mouth review turn out to be good. Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety trailer: "If the content of the film is received well by the people, the occupancy rate can escalate in the evening shows. But in case it fails to please the audience, the count could remain between Rs 3-3.5 crore," Johar said. He expects Welcome to New York, with a stronger star cast and presence of Diljit, to open good in the north. "The film's performance in the north will be better and will earn Rs 2-2.5 crore. But on a pan-india level, it is SKTKS which will have an upper hand," he added. SKTKS will see Sunny Singh play a character who suffers from a bad relationship and Karthik does what he is best at, romance. Things turn turtle when Sunny's character attempts to free himself from the shackles of bad relationships and finally decides to get married to Nusrat Bharucha- a perfect bahu, a perfect beti and a superhot girlfriend. But Sonu aka Kartik is suspicious of the picture perfect girl and wages a war against the beauty. Regardless of who wins in this story, this bromance or romance war looks set to keep you gripped till the end.
