Salman Khan’s ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ box office collections cross Rs 300 crore in India

Salman Khan-starrer 'Bajrangi Bhaijaan' box office collections have crossed the magical Rs 300 crore mark in India, thereby making it the second film to enter this exclusive club after Aamir Khan's 'PK'.

Salman Khan-starrer ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ box office collections have crossed the magical Rs 300 crore mark in India, thereby making it the second film to enter this exclusive club after Aamir Khan’s ‘PK’.

Bajrangi Bhaijaan reached the Rs 300 crore mark 20 days after its release on July 17.

Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ is a cross-border do-gooder drama, directed by Kabir Khan who posted this message on Twitter, ‘300+’.

A statement from Eros International confirmed the news, “BB crosses Rs 300 crore In India. Wednesday collection Rs 2.45 crore (outside India),”

‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ centres around a man’s journey to help a Pakistani mute girl to reach her native country. Unlike Salman Khan’s previous outings which focused on his action star persona, the film brought out the emotional side of the superstar.

Trade analyst Taran Adarsh wrote, “#BajrangiBhaijaan crosses 300 cr in India… 2nd film to achieve the ENVIABLE status, after #PK… 2nd HIGHEST grosser ever. Hindi films (sic).”

The film also stars Kareena Kapoor Khan, Nawazuddin Siddiqui and marks the debut of child actress Harshaali Malhotra on the big screen.
