Released from Pune's Yerawada jail on February 25 this year, Sanjay Dutt completed five years of sentence for illegal possession of arms related to the Mumbai blasts of 1993.
Thanking the jail authorities, Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt on his 57th birthday said that he got a lot of love during his time in prison. “One has to be strong in bad phase of life,” he told to ANI.
He also mentioned that his kids gifted him a car on his birthday. Sanjay Dutt said that he has a good line of movies coming up. “I have celebrated my last 3 birthdays in jail, today I am a free man and will celebrate my b’day with kids,” he added.

The celebrity’s wife Maanyata posted pictures of the celebration on Instagram. However, Bollywood’s bhai Salman Khan was not present at the party. It was reported earlier that Sanjay Dutt was not happy with Salman Khan’s offer to help him in his career.
Tarnished by a career with controversies, the Munnabhai star said at a press conference on his birthday, “He is my younger brother. He has always been and will always be. God has given him all the grace and great success in life. l request everyone to not make it an issue. He is busy and so am I. We can’t meet daily. We met in Madrid (during IIFA). No one wrote about it. There is no fight. No one fights with your brother.”
