The trailer of actor Manoj Bajpayee’s upcoming movie ‘Rukh’ has been launched. The film, directed by Atanu Mukherjee, is a mystery crime thriller. The trailer shows the journey of a boy who tries to find his lost family connection. The story of the film revolves around an 18-year-old boy Dhruv and his painful journey in search of truth which is hidden from him post the death of his father in a road accident. The film is set to release on 27th October 2017 in India. The movie is the directorial debut of Atanu Mukherjee and has powerful performances and some soulful soundtrack by hitmaker Amit Trivedi, according to Koimoi. com.

The trailer sets a dark tone with a lot of mystery in the storyline. The two-minute 29-second trailer keeps audiences hooked till the end and awakens a lot of curiosity. Later, the boy comes to know that his father goes bankrupt before the death and he discovers that his father’s death was not an accident but a murder.

Apart from Manoj Bajpayee, the film also has acclaimed cast including Adarsh Gourav, Smita Tambe, and Kumud Mishra. The movie is produced by Manish Mundra’s Drishyam Films. Apart from Bajpayee, “Rukh” also features Adarsh Gourav, Smita Tambe and Kumud Mishra. Mundra said in a statement, “‘Rukh’ is a very special film for us… We are very happy with the way it has shaped up and can’t wait for our audience to see it.” The film was a part of the inaugural Drishyam-Sundance Institute Screenwriters Lab 2015 and a part of Film Bazaar Recommends 2016, as per PTI.
