Many people were wondering why such timing – 13:03 PM? So here is the logic behind it. Actually, there is history behind it, backed by solid data. According to famous Indian movie industry tracker Ramesh Bala, makers chose 13.03 as the trailer launch time because it was 1303 AD when Raja Ratan Singh and Alauddin Khilji engaged in battle. Shahid Kapoor is playing Raja Ratan Singh while Ranveer Singh will be seen as Alauddin Khilji in the Sanjay Leela Bhansali directed movie. Deepika Padukone is playing Rani Padmini in this Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s much-awaited magnum opus. Going by what the trailer shows, the movie looks grand in sets. In terms of cinematography, it may set some new standards. The trailer gives a glimpse of some heavy-duty dialogues pertaining to Rajput community. The big budget movie stars Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh and Shahid Kapoor in lead roles. All the three stars look amazing in their respective roles. The movie is directed by ace filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali.

Dressed in a traditional royal attire in the poster, Deepika, personifies the courage and power the queen of Chittor was known for. “On the occasion of the first day of Devi puja, here is the first look of Padmavati,” Deepika wrote along with the poster.
