Actor Ranveer Singh whose new film, Befikre is on the cards, it is actually set for release (Friday, December 9), which also stars Vaani Kapoor, made a spectacular remark that grabbed the attention of everyone. Ranveer, in a rather candid moment, said that he might well go to jail. Here is how it started. Befikre team organised a fashion show as a part of the promotional activity for the movie ahead of its release. A lot of well-known designers and other prominent names of the industry also graced the occassion. The dapper Ranveer Singh, was the show-topper and stole everyone’s thunder not just with his look, his ever-lasting smile, but even with the quality of his conversation. As expected, Ranveer received much love from the gathering. Audience welcomed the star with rounds and rounds of applause, reported Indian Express. Ranveer’s electric energy seemed to have transferred to the crowd as he walked the ramp.

The entire episode started with a question that was posed to him. A query was put to him about what was the most ‘Befikre’ moment that he went through in his life. Caught off guard for a moment, a slightly smiling Ranveer said, “If I told you that, I will go to jail for sure.”

Seeing the uncharacteristic manner in which Ranveer had ade the comment made the crowd go quiet for a second before they all broke out in spontaneous applause.Thereafter it didn’t take long for the actor to get back to his effervescent best.
