The makers had to knock the Supreme Court door following which Padmaavat got a green signal to release pan-India. Inspite of the apex court order, the film was not screened in states like Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan and Gujarat. Recently internet went abuzz with reports of Karni sena withdrawing their protest against the film.
