‘Neerja’ box office collections are out to prove that a movie can be acclaimed critically and still manage to make money too, especially if the lead actor puts in a special effort, something that Sonam Kapoor has done in the movie and is backed by an equally creditable cast. The film based on the tragic life of Neerja Bhanot who died defying terrorists has earned 25.71 crore by day 4th.

Ram Madhvani’s film is a great biopic with barely any flaws, and for the first time critics across the spectrum have showered praise on the movie. The movie was released on February 19.
