Mastizaade box office collections: After last week’s two releases, the rather forgettable Tusshar Kapoor’s Kya Kool Hain Hum (KKHH3) and Akshay Kumar starrer Airlift, this week saw the release of two films on somewhat similar lines in the form of the Sunny Leone starrer sex comedy Mastizaade and an inspirational tale in the form of Saala Khadoos.

Early reports suggest that Mastizaade that features Vir Das, Tusshar Kapoor and Sunny Leone in a double role has got off to a less than average start with occupancy rate being pegged at 30% during morning shows.

On the other hand, last week’s release Airlift continues its run in theatres recording occupancy rates higher than the new releases.

On the whole, Sunny Leone’s Mastizaade, which caters mainly to the single-screen going audience with oodles of raunchy slapstick humour, is likely to see a drop in viewership after the initial hysteria subsides.

However, it is Airlift that will emerge as the winner in its second weekend as well, with overall collections getting a boost thanks to the underperformance of the newer releases.
