Marathi blockbuster ‘Sairat’ actor Rinku Rajguru, on Tuesday appeared for her class 10th exam. Rinku who shot to national fame for her portrayal of the female lead ‘Archi’, appeared for her 10th class exam and surprisingly Rinku said that she covered the syllabus in just over a month of study! The film ‘Sairat’ reached the Rs 100 crore mark and went on becoming the highest grossing film in Marathi cinema history. Rinku failed to make it to the school on the first day of the new academic year as she became a household name in Maharashtra after the grand success of the movie. Last year in June, she had attended her school at Akluj in Solapur district, after being away from home since the film released to a rousing reception previous year, attending promotional and celebration events and appearing on popular TV shows, which kept her away from her studies.

Around 17.66 lakh students appeared for the exams, but apart from so many distractions and work commitments, the transition from ‘lights, camera, action’ to ‘physics, chemistry, maths’ was not difficult for Rinku at all. She told the reporters that for her one and a half month period that she got for studies was enough.
Not only that, Rinku had been a bright student. A day after she got a special mention when the National Film Awards were announced, Rinku had calmly appeared for her 9th Class exam in her school Jijamata Kanya Prashala, a girls school and she managed to score 81 per cent marks in her 9th Class exam.
We wish all luck to this super talented child and hope she comes out with flying colors this time as well.
