A special Rajinikanth Kabali review: At an exclusive get-together, Rajinikanth starrer Kabali was screened for the megastar himself and his family and friends in the United States (US) and from the views that have emerged thereafter an unanimous verdict has been delivered about the nature of the movie – it is sensational! Rajinikanth wanted to see for himself the entire film before release to ensure everything that is supposed to be there is present and that nothing has been left to chance and the responses from him and others have been great.
What has emerged from this exclusive Kabali review, so to speak, is that it is a paisa wasool film and all those who were lucky enough to view it with Rajinikanth gave it a glowing verdict. Thumb-sup all around. In fact, during the movie’s many special moments, of which there is no dearth at all, people jumped up spontaneously and applauded. Also, during the show, many exclamations of appreciation were heard. Clearly, Kabali is all set to get an exceptional word-of-mouth booster shot. And from all intents and purposes, Kabali box office collections are going to shoot through the roof and pass the Rs 100 cr mark perhaps in the opening weekend itself – and this is likely to happen even though the opening day is not a holiday.

However, there was a dark side to the screening too. A person present at the special screening of the movie took a 2 minute clip and uploaded it online. Clearly, that would be a setback for Rajinikath and Kabali both as they attempt to become the best movie ever released in India, topping even the 3 Khans who have ruled the industry for years now.

Back home in India, where Rajinikanth mania is at its highest, Kabali tickets are being sold at a price as high as Rs 700 because the demand has far outstripped the supply. Also, unscrupulous elements are taking advantage by securing tickets in bulk and now selling them at a premium to die-hard fans who were not able to secure them earlier.

With Rajinikanth fighting to retain his charisma at its peak, after the drubbing of Lingaa and Robot, a mis-firing movie’s fallout would stretch all the way to the industry too, which is desperate to generate a worldwide superhit. Needless to say, the only man who can do this is Rajinikanth himself.
