Mumbaikars were left disappointed as they learned that Justin Bieber, the celebrated Canadian popstar, may not arrive in the city on Tuesday. A lot of fans were seen waiting for Bieber’s arrival at the airport and the hotel he would be staying at, Indianexpress reported. The report said that a number of rumours were doing the rounds on social media about his arrival, and this kept the fans frenzy at a high. The eager fans, hoping to catch a glimpse of the musician before his concert, took to Twitter to share their disappointment. Meanwhile, tagging one of his fans in India on Tuesday morning, Bieber posted this message, “Dubai is incredible… India you are next. @Amit_Bhatia99 u ready? #PurposeTourStadiums.” Vipasha Sharma, a 19-year-old ‘Belieber’ who visited the airport on Monday to catch a glimpse of the 23-year-old singer, said, “When the concert was announced I cried as I have eagerly waited for him to perform in India. He was to arrive on Monday so I went to the airport hoping to see him. But there was no trace of him. There are rumours about his arrival every day and I am just trying to keep myself updated.”
Nila Hikmahana (16), an ardent Bieber fan, checked herself in at St. Regis, the hotel Bieber is staying at. Hikmahana tweeted this message thereafter: “Can my life be anymore greater than staying in the same building with ‘The Justin Bieber’ #onceimlovingmylife”.
