Janet Jackson is all set for her come back as BMG has announced that it will release the singer’s first album in seven years.
Expressing her excitement to start a new phase of her career, the 49-year-old singer, who has sold over 160 million albums worldwide, thanked the talented team at BMG and said that the opportunity to be creative in music and every form of entertainment had great potential here, reported E! Online.
BMG CEO, Hartwig Masuch said that the singer wasn’t just a supreme artist but was a unique cultural force whose work echoed around the world.
He added that it was an honor that the ‘All For You’ hit-maker has picked them to release her long-awaited new album and they were looking forward to collaborating with her across every platform.
Jakcson released her last album ‘Discipline’ in 2008.
