Over the years, Shah Rukh Khan has turned into a phenomenon in Bollywood. Every time his movie hits the theatres, the SRK fans can’t help but watch first day, first show. Most SRK fans had booked their tickets in advance while others queued outside theatres to get them. However, the demand was so high that the tickets were sold at incredibly high rates. Amod Mehra told the tabloid that since there have not been too many good films in the recent past, the audience is not shying away from splashing money for this much-awaited film. “There haven’t been any good films in the recent past, which would have motivated the audience to spend money. So, people who have the money will not mind spending a huge amount on this one,” he said.

There is an equal buzz for the movie in the other parts of the country as well. According to the report, the tickets have been priced at Rs. 1,500 at the PVR Icon in Versova but looks like even that won’t stop the fans from reaching theatres. According to The Indian Express, the film might earn close to Rs 60 crore on its opening weekend.
