In another instance of actors going through unrecognisable transformation just to fit into and get in the skin of the character to make it look more believable, the sneak peak of Hrithik Roshan’s upcoming ‘Super 30’ sees the actor do just that. Hrithik, who plays the character of the Patna mathematician Anand Kumar, looks nothing like his swanky self. In the latest picture which has been leaked from the sets of Super 30, Hrithik has donned the avatar of a street hawker and is seen wearing a shirt paired with a trouser and a ‘gamcha’, selling ‘papad’ on a bicycle. What is quite evident from the revealed picture is that the actor has undergone serious weight loss to don the look of the acclaimed mathematician. His role in this film is nothing like what we have seen him play before.
Hrithik has completed shooting the first leg of the film in Varanasi and has gone through a complete transformation to fit into the role of Anand Kumar. The story is based on famous mathematician who coaches a batch of 30 engineering aspirants from needful background free of cost every year. He has sent 450 candidates to reputed institutes across India in the past 15 years. In the film, Hrithik will be romancing television actress Mrunal Thakur who will be debuting on silver screen with this flick.

In an interview to PTI, a delighted Anand shared how happy he was to see Hrithik playing his life on silver screen. He said he was ”pleasantly surprised” to see the look wherein Hrithik sports a rugged, bearded avatar. The next leg of the film will be shot in Patna. With Hrithik’s last film Kaabil was criticised for its content despite doing a good box office business, the actor is surely looking for a better start this year. Super 30 is scheduled for a November 2018 release.
