The stars took to Twitter to extend their greetings to fans.
Bachchan tweeted, “Happy Republic Day for the 26th of January! May our prayers and love for country ever increase… Peace!”
Shah Rukh recalled his childhood days when he used to watch the Republic Day parade with his parents.
“Memories & Pride watching the Parade on TV. Missing my family and how we went to watch the parade from the Freedom Fighters section. Jai Hind,” he wrote.
Actress Priyanka Chopra tweeted last evening, “Looking forward to watching the Republic Day Parade on TV tomorrow… So many childhood memories attached!”
