With Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations all set to begin from August 25, Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt has recorded his first Ganesh Aarti for his comeback film Bhoomi. As per Indian Express, the team of the film including director Omung Kumar, producers Bhushan Kumar and Sandeep Singh were also present when the actor was recording the song. The actor, being a strong believer of Lord Ganesha, wanted to record the Aarti on his own.
Sanjay Dut has also ensured that the trailer of the movie also has a significant part of the Ganesh Aarti, which will also be his comeback as a singer too. In the past also, the actor has lent his voice to a number of songs. Whether it is the title track of Chal Mere Bhai or Kaante’s “Jaane Kya Hoga Rama Re”, Sanjay Dutt has surprised his fans on several occasions.
According to the Indian Express, the actor would also be reciting a Sanskrit shlok. The song, which is yet to be titled is a devotional number sung by Sanjay Dutt and Ajay Gogavale. It has been composed by musical duo Sachin-Jigar and is inspired by mMaa, the divine mother of cosmos and represents the concept of Shiv-Shakti .
“Sanjay Dutt is an all-rounder. He can sing, act and dance effortlessly at the same time. He is a multi-tasking rockstar for us. He has sung a few Sanskrit shlokas and took precisely 60 minutes in the studio to deliver his part with no prior training, ” Music composer Sachin-Jigar was quoted as saying by the Indian Express.
The actor plays the role of a father in the movie, who will do anything to save his daughter Bhoomi, the role which is played by Aditi Rao Hydari. The film is an upcoming drama directed and co-produced by Omung Kumar. Apart from Sanjay Dutt and Aditi Rao Hydari, the cast of the film include Sharad Kelkar, Shekhar Suman and Sidhant Gupta. The movie is slated to be released on September 22.
