Country singer Blake Shelton says his new song “Came Here to Forget” mirrors his life.
The song will be 39-year-old singer’s first track from his highly anticipated 12th studio album, reported People magazine.
“I’ve had a lot of music over the years but I don’t think I’ve ever had a song before that’s such a direct look into my life. That’s why I’m so excited about this particular song,” Shelton said in a statement.
The song is written by Craig Wiseman and Deric Ruttan. Shelton has been teasing fans about new music since last summer.
