On the Weekend Ka Vaar episode of Bigg Boss 11 that aired on Saturday, October 7, Salman Khan evicted one of the contestants from the show. Priyank Sharma, who was blamed for instigating a fight between two other contestants in the house, was asked to leave the show. According to the Indian Express, Salman Khan evicted Priyank on the grounds that he was the first one to initiate a physical face off with fellow contestant Akash Dadlani by getting a hold of his collar. Reiterating on the fact that any form of physical or verbal abuse was prohibited on the show, Bollywood’s Dabangg Khan said that, if he could, he would throw all the contestants out of the house who were a part of the fight that took place on Friday.
According to IE, Akash Dadlani and Vikas Gupta got into a fight in the house on Friday evening and during their verbal spat, Akash was heard questioning Vikas’ sexual orientation. Things got ugly from thereon when their heated argument gave rise to a physical war between the two. Blaming Priyank Sharma for instigating the fight, Salman kicked him out for his unbecoming behaviour on the show. According to IE, fellow contestant, Hina Khan, came to Priyank’s defence and said that if Priyank left the show, she would leave along with him, too. Though, Hina’s support did not make much any difference to Salman.
Salman Khan expressed his disappointment on how he had expected to see Priyank as one of the finalists of Bigg Boss 11 but had to now ask him to leave. As reported by IE, another contestant, whose name is yet to be announced, would be evicted on the next episode of the show. For all its seasons, Bigg Boss is known for its controversies and this season, too, it is not lagging behind.
