December 18 saw the release of this Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone and Priyanka Chopra. The film which started off slow thanks to the competition from Shah Rukh Khan film Dilwale has gathered steam over time. Now in its third week, ‘Bajirao Mastani’ has quite literally become one of the biggest money spinners.

Interestingly, ‘Bajirao Mastani’ collected Rs 20.50 cr in its third weekend and thereby has become the second highest grosser after Aamir Khan’s ‘PK’ that collected Rs 26.75 cr in the same time frame.
On the other hand, ‘Bajirao Mastani’ has overtaken other releases like Salman Khan starrer ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ that collected Rs 19.98 cr, Aamir Khan starrer ‘Dhoom 3’ that collected Rs 12.91 cr and Kangna Ranaut-R Madhavan starrer ‘Tanu Weds Manu Returns’ that collected Rs. 12.28 cr in the third week.
