Rana Daggubati's look in Baahubali 2: The Beginning was revealed yesterday and the actor looks intimidating as King Bhallaladeva.
Rana Daggubati celebrated his 31st birthday yesterday and to mark the occasion, the makers of Baahubali: The Conclusion unveiled his look as Bhallaladeva on Twitter. The actor looks as aggressive as ever as the Mahishmati king, wearing a gold and black armour and carrying a mace. The actor reportedly went under an intense workout regiment, according to DNA, to get himself in shape and look like a worthy adversary to Prabhas’ Baahubali. And going by this new photo, his hard work has really paid off!
Incidentally, Prabhas’ first look in the sequel was revealed on the actor’s birthday on October 23 as well. However, Rana had an some additional victories on his big day. He also shared his first look from two of his upcoming films – Guru and The Ghazi Attack. In the second pic, Rana looked dapper in the navy officer’s uniform and miles away from his Baahubali character. Ghazi focuses on the sinking of an Indian submarine and the crew’s struggle to stay alive while their vessel remains under water. It will be interesting to see Rana in a film that’s very different from the historical epic that catapulted the actor to stardom.
Baahubali has reportedly wrapped up most of it’s production and will hit theaters next year. Finally, the answer to the question that has troubled audiences since the screening of the first installment will be revealed – why did Katappa kill Baahubali? But the answer came under some threat recently when the climax fight scene of the film was leaked online by one of the film’s editorial team members. The makers were quick to take action and implored fans not to view the leaked footage.
