The much-awaited movie Avengers: Endgame has become the latest victim of piracy. As per reports, infamous piracy website TamilRockers has leaked a cam print of the entire movie online two days before its release.
However the Avengers: Endgame is a culmination of over a decade’s worth of films in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. It revolves around how the surviving superheroes will take down the mad Titan Thanos. The movie stars Robert Downey Jr, Mark Ruffalo, Paul Rudd, Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, and Brie Larson, among others.
The excitement of fans has gone up to other levels, as just one day to go for the release of Avengers: Endgame. The advance ticket sales were unprecedented and the movie is set to have an earth-shattering opening which is estimated to be over Rs 40 crore, at the box office.
BookMyShow, the ticket booking app witnessed a record-breaking sale of 18 tickets per second as enthusiastic fans snapped up tickets within minutes. All shows in the opening weekend are already almost sold out. Also, there are reports doing the rounds, that multiplexes are planning to screen Avengers: Endgame 24×7 to cash in on the Marvel fever that has gripped the country.
On Monday night, the world premiere of Avengers: Endgame was held in Los Angeles and all the fans tearfully noted that it was an epic end to the franchise.

Marvel had gone to extreme lengths to safeguard the film from piracy. No hard copies of scripts existed, and there were only three iPads which contained the full script. Only Robert Downey Jr (and perhaps Chris Evans) had access to the full script, while the rest of the cast were only provided with their lines. Specific scenes were shot in closed environments, and multiple versions were filmed so as to keep crew guessing about its real ending. Marvel’s social media accounts have been urging fans to not spoil Endgame with frequent posts.

Avengers: Endgame is the 22nd film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and has been billed as a grand conclusion to over a decade of a story. The film also stars Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, Jeremy Renner, and Scarlett Johansson, among others. Directed by Joe and Anthony Russo, the film is slated for an April 26 release in India.
