After backlash from fans for not carrying Danai Gurira's name on the poster, Marvel studios released a new poster of Avengers Endgame.
With just a few weeks left for the epic finale of the Avengers franchise, Marvel studios surprised its fans with another nail-biting trailer as well as a poster. However, the poster irked fans as it did not have the name of Danai Gurira, who plays Okoye in the film, at the top of the poster.
The omission sparked much anger on social media. Author Christopher Golden wrote that they’ve got Bradley Cooper’s name in there and he is just the voice of Rocket. Danai Gurira is the only person on the poster not listed there by name.
Another user wrote that Black women always get the short end of the stick. Why is Danai Gurira’s name not here but everybody else’s? Literally everyone else but her.
The backlash prompted Marvel to release a new poster with Gurira’s name coming just before Bradley Cooper and Josh Brolin.

The previous trailer began with a desolate Tony Stark in space, recording a message for Pepper Potts, just in case he would not be able to make it. Nebula and Tony had been stranded on Titan at the end of the previous film, after Thanos had wiped out half of the world’s population, with just a snap of his fingers.
The new trailer has generated a feverish amount of hype where we see flashes from Infinity War and also a determined team to bring Thanos down. The voice-overs are done by Robert Downey Jr. He plays the role of Iron Man and Pepper Potts. The film, directed by the Russo brothers, is going to hit the screens on April 26, in what’s going to be the most epic finale in the MCU.
