Alia Bhatt, who will be next seen in Vikas Bahl's directorial Shaandaar, has expressed a desire to do a biopic on Pakistani singer Nazia Hassan.

Alia Bhatt, who will be next seen in Vikas Bahl’s directorial Shaandaar, has expressed a desire to do a biopic on Pakistani singer Nazia Hassan.

Interacting with the media, the 22-year-old actress said she would love to do a biopic on the ‘Boom Boom’ singer, who died aged 35, adding that she too is a singer like her, and it will be interesting to do a biopic on the late singer.

The ‘2 States’ actress added, “I did not think much about it, but I think I should do it now.”

The upcoming flick of Alia also stars Shahid Kapoor, Pankaj Kapur and Punjabi actor Diljit Dosanjh and is slated to hit the theaters on 22 October 2015.
