Bollywood star Akshay Kumar’s ‘Baby’ box office collections may have failed to reach Rs 100 crore mark in its opening week in spite of having good all-round reviews, but still, the movie has done better than others so far in 2015. Despite a slew of releases, ‘Baby’ has shown excellent growth over the second weekend at the box office.
‘Baby’ box office collections on weekend 2 had been Rs 2.85 crore on Friday and Rs 3.99 crore on Saturday, before jumping to Rs 5.81 crore on Sunday, thanks to the dull performance of the new releases like ‘Khamoshiyan’ and ‘Hawaizaada’ at the box office. The movie’s overall business stands at Rs 76.47 crore from 10 days. Akshay Kumar’s biggest grosser is ‘Rowdy Rathore’ (Rs 133.25 crore), which made it into the Rs 100 crore club in 11 days.
