‘PK’ box office collections: Aamir Khan starrer becomes 10th highest grosser of Bollywood

Aamir Khan starrer ‘PK’ has become the No 10 in the all-time grosser list with Rs 155.03 cr in collections from 6 days.

After beating Salman Khan’s ‘Dabangg 2’, which made Rs 155 crore, PK is now training its guns on Hrithik Roshan’s ‘Bang Bang’.

Aamir Khan and Anushka Sharma starrer ‘PK’, which received rave reviews and also making waves with its box office collections, has become the No 10 in the all-time grosser list.

After beating Salman Khan’s ‘Dabangg 2’, which made Rs 155 crore, PK is now training its guns on Hrithik Roshan’s ‘Bang Bang’ (Rs 181.03 crore) and Rabir Kapoor’s ‘Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani’ (Rs 188.57 crore).

So far, PK has made Rs 155.03 crore in merely six days with Rs 95.41 crore from the opening weekend. With the Christmas Day holiday today, the film is expected to churn out humongous number at the end of first week. And the numbers to beat are Week 1 collections of ‘Dhoom 3’ (Rs 188.99 crore), ‘Krrish 3’ (Rs 166.52 crore) and ‘Kick’ (Rs 164.09 crore).

It remains to be seen whether 2014’s most awaited film will close the year with a bang!

PK Box office collections: Day-wise break-up

Day 1 (Friday): Rs 26.63 crore
Day 2 (Saturday): Rs 30.34 crore
Day 3 (Sunday):  Rs 38.44 crore
Day 4 (Monday): Rs 21.22 crore
Day 5 (Tuesday): Rs 18.85 crore
Day 6 (Tuesday): Rs 19.55 crore

Total: Rs 155.03 crore
