Superstar Aamir Khan is going to spend next decade working on this massive project that will stretch into several films. The actor who is known to work hard and get under the skin of his characters will work on a project that involves the epic Mahabharat. The actor will not only produce all these films but also play roles in all of them. Aamir Khan is so excited about the project that he opted out of Rakesh Sharma biopic film Salute. He is expected to finish the shoot of his upcoming movie Thugs of Hindostan and start work on this mythological series, according to Bollywood Hungama. The actor wants to be involved in all stages of production of the film and will produce all the movies in the series.
The actor is also planning to direct eventually. The first movie of the series would be directed by Advait Chandan, who had recently directed the much talked about film Secret Superstar for Aamir Khan Productions. As per the report, the actor who will also act on these films wishes to play the role of Lord Krishna. However, Karna is also his favourite character. It is yet to be seen, which other actors will be roped in for film and when the actor will start this project.
Meanwhile, his film Thugs of Hindostan, which also stars Amitabh Bachchan is being shot extensively in Malta, Mumbai and Thailand. It also stars Katrina Kaif and Dangal girl Fatima Sana Shaikh. Amitabh Bachchan, who was shooting for the movie in Thailand, has wrapped up the schedule recently. He posted an image on Instagram with the caption, “From the wilds and chills of Thailand after finishing schedule of TOH .. ‘Thugs of HINDOOSTAN ‘ now ready to go back to the warmth of MUMBAI and home ..”.
The movie is being directed by Vijay Krishna Acharya, who earlier directed Tashan and Dhoom 3. This will be the first time that Bollywood superstars Amitabh Bachchan and Aamir Khan will be sharing space on the screen. The film is being touted as one of the biggest films of next year.
