UP Polls 2017: Priyanka Gandhi Vadra filled in Congress president Sonia Gandhi's shoes to support Rahul Gandhi against Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
While addressing a rally in Maharajganj, Raebareli (UP) on Friday, Priyanka Gandhi Vadra filled in Congress president Sonia Gandhi’s shoes to support Rahul Gandhi against Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Priyanka Gandhi slammed PM Modi for attacking Rahul. She said, “PM ne kaha mujhe UP ne godh liya aur mein UP ka vikas karoonga. Kya UP ko vikas ke liye kisi ko godh lene ki zarurat hai? (PM Modi claimed that UP has adopted him, but does UP need to adopt an outsider for development?)” She further emphasised that UP’s youngsters are enough for its development, she said, “UP ka har naujawan neta ban sakta hai, aur UP ka vikas kar sakta hai” (Uttar Pradesh’s youngsters are capable enough to develop the state and do not need anyone else’s support). She also said, “Jo aapke liye kaam karna chahta hai usse pehchaniye” (Identify the people who want to work for you).
