Mayawati's BSP has exposed the reality of UP police- Dial 100 service.
The Uttar Pradesh assembly elections has reached to its climax after constant attack of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Samajwadi Party (SP) and Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) over each other during the campaigning. The Narendra Modi-led saffron party won the hearts of voters who gave them a majority win in the state by electing their candidates on 325 seats from 403 seats. But it seems that the blame game has not end as three days after the declaration of the polls’ result, Mayawati’s BSP has exposed the reality of UP police- Dial 100 service. The party has uploaded a video of two drunk cops on-duty. They are sitting on their official vehicle, a black SUV, and drinking “liquor” at open highway in Shamli.
The Dial 100 service of UP police has been started by ruling party SP to reach to the needed people quickly and help them in the way possible. UP CM Akhilesh Yadav had also used it often while campaigning for the state assembly polls to woo the voters. However, it did not work for the party to win the polls and now the cops are defaming the service, as the video shows.

In the video, the cops are also talking carelessly and dancing in drunkard position besides drinking “liquors”. While one of the two cops was making drink, the other one – completely drunk – was saying that it was the festival of police and they will drink and perform their duty at the same time.
However, now when the government is set to change from SP to BJP, the state is witnessing some major events like arrest of rape-accused minister Gayatri Prajapati. It would be interesting to see whether the new governance brings positive changes for the safety and security of people or the people will leave in same condition as of now.

Meanwhile, BSP has also standing strongly on their allegation of tampering in the EVMs in the polls. The party has declared that it will stage sit-in on 11th day of every month in protest against “EVM tampering”. The party has also written a letter to teh Election Commission for repolling in the state.
