UP elections: HM Rajnath Singh addresses Fatehabad rally, slams Samajwadi Party over alliance with Congress

With days left for the Uttar Pradesh assembly elections, Home Minister Rajnath Singh today hit out at the Samajwadi Party government and stated that because of their misgovernance they can't see the 'ache din' in the country.

Rajnath also slammed the ruling party in UP over their alliance with Rahul Gandhi’s Congress. Citing Rahul Gandhi’s ‘Khat Sabha’ in the state, the Home Minister taunted the Akhilesh Yadav party for allying with the Congress party.

Slamming the Samajwadi Party for Akhilesh Yadav’s alliance with Rahul Gandhi, Rajnath stated that the party has wasted what arty supremo Mulayam Singh Yadav has earned and even the party patriarch has opposed the alliance.

Also speaking over the escalated tension between India and Pakistan, at the Fatehbad rally, Rajnath said that his visit to Pakistan was to make the neighbouring country uncotrollable in their own grounds.

Earlier Yesterday, Rajnath said, “Pakistan is our neighbouring country. If they correct themselves it will be good, but if some terror attack takes place, we cannot guarantee that there won’t be surgical strike in future. We don’t want, but if situation demands, there is no second way.”

In an interview to CNN-News18, Singh said there was inputs that after carrying out terror strikes in Kashmir, terrorists return to the launching pads on the Line of Control. Our soldiers went across the Line of Control and hit those launching pads and cause significant damages, the Home Minister said.
