According to the exit polls it is a tsunami of support for the BJP.According to the VMR poll, it is 36 per cent mark breached by BJP overall. This indicates that BJP has emerged as the single largest party across seven regions in Uttar Pradesh. The prospects of hung house as predicted by poll pundits earlier no more holds good showing an unprecedented wave for the BJP. With BJP ahead of all other parties, it is set to make a comeback on its own in the crucial state of Uttar Pradesh. This can be credited to the social engineering of Amit shah. Even the VDP Associates exit polls show that it is a lead for the BJP though the numbers are marginally different. According to VDP It is 34 in West UP, 37 in central UP 33 in Bundelkhand and 36 in East UP.

BJP was able to present themselves as a party that works and the vote will not go a waste.

More or less all the exit pollsters are giving out more or less the same numbers for the BJP. Cong-SP are coming second with 27 in west UP, 31 in Central UP, 28 in Bundelkhand and 30 in East UP.

With these numbers, it seems pretty clear that BSP has no chance of coming. Even thought the muslim vote had been divided, yet BJP is still in the lead.
